Cyclical Women, presented by folk, held at Grain
1:00 PM (America/Denver)
Grain
Description:
We are excited to share that this event is happening again. Cyclical Women is a feminine workshop gathering over tea at the lovely Grain, to discuss our cycle and how it relates to daily life, our health and mental health, and every day of our existence. We will learn about the cycle, how to track it, it's influence on day to day feelings and the hormones involved and issues that arise when things are off which is evidenced in mood, night waking, desire/libido issues, fatigue. We will discuss naturally taking care of ourselves with an integrative self care approach to some of these issues. We will also delve into what happens as we get into our 40's with peri-menopause and an understanding of how to even think about things like labs, topical hormones, and an understanding of how to holistically approach it all. Let's better take care of ourselves, starting with us, and trusting our instincts. This is a clinically related workshop with a great vibe. Any age will leave more empowered, more at home in our bodies.

Taught by Charlotte, prior midwife/ibclc, now nurse and on the way in grad school as a family nurse practitioner, known as Folk. A mama of 3 and adventurer
