With the number of active shooter incidents on the rise it is becoming more important than ever to understand how you will respond when confronted with a situation and what measures you can take to protect yourself and others. In this one-day class you will learn disaster response psychology, what you can do before and during an incident, what to expect from law enforcement and emergency personnel, how to use the RUN, LOCK, FIGHT response, and through live scenarios discover how you would respond during an active shooter incident. This class is for City, County, School, and other governmental agency employees and supervisors. Wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes. This class has been approved for 7 early childhood credits on the practitioner registry.
