Preserve Historic Missoula will hold its annual event on February 23 at Heritage Hall, Fort Missoula. Social hour will begin at 6 PM, with music provided by Ellie Nuno. Appetizers and drinks will be available. An update on Preserve Historic Missoula's recent accomplishments will begin at 7 PM, followed by a 45-minute presentation. The featured speakers are Chere Jiusto, Christine Brown, and Tom Ferris. Jiusto and Brown are co-authors of the recent book Hand-Raised: Historic Barns of Montana; Ferris is the book's photographer. Hand-Raised will be available for purchase, and Jiusto, Brown and Ferris will sign books before and after their presentation. A silent auction, featuring vintage books as well as other vintage and collectible items, will be in place from 6 PM until 9 PM. A variety of area non-profit groups will have informational tables at the event, which is open to the public. Admission and refreshments are free, donations gladly accepted.
