Photographing in the Backcountry Description:
In our neck of the woods, all it takes to be standing face to face with a spectacular scene of snow-capped mountains or fog crawling softly above a river is a decent pair of shoes. But when that's not enough, we can disappear as deep into the backcountry as we want. Well, to be more accurate, we can go as far as our bodies will allow when carrying all of the camera gear we desire. Outdoor photographer Claire Haughey knows the struggles of having to choose between your favorite lens or your favorite water bottle. In this lecture she will talk about how to select gear for outdoor outings, backpack organization, caring for your gear in crummy conditions, and some clever tips for roughing it ... photographically.
