Fraud in the workplace has long been most costly to businesses. As the recent recession wore on, that got worse and it appears fraud will not be decreasing anytime soon. Virtually every business is hit with fraud and the costs can be staggering.
In this Roundtable session, Jim Galipeau of Junkermier Clark Campanella Stevens will help business owners, CFOs and others responsible for safeguarding business assets understand fraud: the extent of the problem, the conditions that make it possible, warning signs to watch for and techniques for preventing it.
Jim will begin his presentation at 5:30 p.m. and facilitate a roundtable discussion from 6-7 p.m. Attendees will receive a booklet of information to keep.
Jim is a shareholder and chairman of the board of JCCS, an accounting firm with seven offices throughout Montana. A CPA for 20 years, Jim has been a Certified Fraud Examiner since 2008. He's worked on fraud cases and provided litigation consulting throughout his career and have extensive experience in financial auditing, and personal and business taxation.
