BSDFF - Shorts Block 3 Description:
Rebuilding in Miniature: Ali Alamedy is a displaced Iraqi artist with an inventive imagination. REBUILDING IN MINIATURE follows the Iraqi artist and his incredible detailed dioramas of the places he has read about but never been.

Quiet Hours: Donald Hall, America’s Poet Laureate and winner of the National Medal of Arts, lives in the fragile space between loneliness and solitude.

Land of the Wind: Patagonia is a distinct and beautiful region of South America, a region spanning the lower sections of Argentina and Chile, down to the extreme southern tip of the country - further South than most people ever dare to venture. Following the fine-art photographer, Eliseo Miciu, LAND OF THE WIND shows the transformative effects of the breath-taking landscape that pushes Eliseo to learn more about himself as he sets to capture Patagonia’s moving soul.

Pink Gold: Looking through the lens of the fishing boat, “Kolsillo,” PINK GOLD offers a portrait of shrimp fishing off the coast of Mexico in Sea of Cortez. A stunning portrait of a community’s dependence on the sea and the bounty that it grants them.

My Indiana Muse: Through an unconventional sequence of events, artist Robert Townsend discovers his muse and embarks on an ambitious and emotional project that will take more than a decade to complete.
