Western Montana Grazing & Agriculture Conference Description:
Thursday – Friday, January 25-26
$50 Early Registration // $75 At the Door (meals included)

This two-day event will feature numerous agricultural producers, natural resource professionals, and educators from across Montana. Speakers will present and host panel discussions on various sustainable and profit-driven topics such as grazing management, soil health and testing, resilience, pollinators, livestock/crop rearing and human health, plus many more! The conference will feature Dr. Fred Provenza, professor emeritus at Utah State University, Department of Wildland Resources. Provenza is internationally recognized for his research in behavior-based landscape management and has received awards for his accomplishments in range management research.

Prior to the conference, check out the free community talk with Dr. Provenza at UM's North Underground Lecture Hall - Jan. 24 @ 6:30pm.

The conference is hosted by Lake County Conservation District with support from Natural Resources Conservation Service, Missoula Conservation District and other area districts, Soil and Water Conservation Districts of Montana, and local businesses.
