August Christian served in Vietnam and received many awards, including the Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal, Air Medal, and the Bronze Star. Rather than inhibiting his creative energies, his war-infused trauma impelled his military experiences into art. His work consists of marble sculptures, intricate mysterious collages, stone reliefs, small models, and drawings.
John Floridis, Missoula- based guitarist, singer-songwriter and composer, mixes bluesy, folk-rock vocal tunes with adventurous solo acoustic guitar compositions. He has been named Missoula Independent’s best musician and has consistently won International Acoustic Music Association's awards.
